Dirt

Tread lightly on memory
The pothole of past regret
And slippery slope
Of things
That was but never meant

Tread lightly on fields of flowers
That never bothered to bloom
And on patches of earth
Where balls of light forgot to

Burn
Remind yourself
Of things
That was
But never meant
